Help Asmaa & her little girls survive in Gaza and rebuild

Hi, I’m Eren and I’m running this fundraiser to help Asmaa, who has been displaced from the North of Gaza Strip. Asmaa’s husband is missing and she is left alone with her two little girls in a tent, with no source of livelihood to survive. She also needs to pay the debts of her destroyed house, despite not even having money to feed her daughters. Due to the dire living conditions and the lack of clean and adequate food & water, Asmaa’s daughters have been very sick.

Please contribute generously to this campaign so that Asmaa and her daughters can survive and get back on their feet. Thank you.

Here is Asmaa’s plea:

“My name is Asmaa Ghanameh and I have two children. I am from the northern Gaza Strip. The occupation demolished my house. My house was built by borrowing money from people and I have many debts. My husband is missing and I do not have any source of livelihood. I lack the basic necessities of life. I do not have money to buy food and water. My daughters are dehydrated and anemic from malnutrition and my situation is very difficult and indescribable. I hope people will help me pay my debts and support my family. I have been displaced more than 6 times and my situation is very difficult, I hope you can help me to save my family and be able to buy food and water. Thank you for your cooperation and support”

أنا اسمي أسماء غنامه و لدي طفلتين أنا من شمال قطاع غزة هدم الاحتلال منزلي و منزلي أنشأته عن طريق استلافي من الناس أموال و علية ديون كتيرة و زوجي مفقود و لا يوجد لدي أي مصدر رزق أفتقر إلى المقومات الأساسية للحياة حيث أنني لا أملك المال لشراء الطعام و الشراب و بناتي أصابهم الجفاف و فقر الدم من سوء التغذية وضعي صعب جدا لا توصفه الكلمات أتمنى من الناس أن تساعدني على سداد ديوني و إعالة أسرتي نزحت أكثر من 6 مرات وضعي صعب للغاية أتمنى منكم أن وساعدوني من أجل إنقاذ أسرتي و القدرة على شراء الطعام و الشراب و شكرا لتعاونكم و دعمكم لي

NB. As Türkiye is not supported on crowdfunding platforms, funds will be transferred to the bank account of my trusted friend in the US, who will either wire the money directly to Asmaa or to me, and I will then transfer the money her.

Just as the ceasefire enabled the people of Gaza to take a break from the daily atrocities, the total blockade imposed by the occupation is quickly leading to a famine, casting a shadow on the blessed month of Ramadan.

Asmaa and her daughters still depend on your donations to survive. In addition to their chronic and severa anemia, 4 years old Mila has been very sick due to the rain and the cold. Thankfully, Asmaa was able to buy medication to treat her cold and fever – all thanks to your generosity.

Donations have significantly slowed down and existing funds are far from enough to sustain the cost of living. Please continue supporting Asmaa and her daughters by sharing and if you can, by donating to the campaign.

Life in Gaza is only getting more difficult by the day and Asmaa and her daughters are forever grateful for your unwavering support. Thanks to your generosity, they have been able to buy much needed food (especially flour) and essential supplies like blankets, medication, and a tarp (for the rain).

But funds have depleted and Asmaa and her girls need your support, urgently. Asmaa has withdrawn the little amount that remains in the campaign, which will not last long. Please continue sharing the campaign, online and offline. If you are able to, donations are very much appreciated.

Thanks to your donations, Asmaa was able to purchase much needed winter clothing and blankets! Children’s clothes cost $50 and adults $100. Asmaa’s message to you:

“Thank God I bought winter clothes for me and my daughters and my daughters are very happy ❤️ I thank you very much and I always pray for everyone who stood by me and helped me. Thank you, without money I would not have been able to buy expensive food, drink and medicine”.

As much as we greatly appreciate your unwavering support so far, there are barely any funds left in the campaign and life in Gaza is only getting more expensive and difficult.
